The 5 Best Places to Get a Rhinoplasty in Phoenix

The 5 Best Places to Get a Rhinoplasty in Phoenix

How We Chose the Best Rhinoplasty Clinics in Phoenix

Credentials

To be safe and sure, we considered those that were board-certified. Awards and industry recognitions were also added bonuses here.

Experience

The likelihood for good results is high with someone who has extensive experience. This is why we looked into how well-versed these surgeons are when it comes to rhinoplasty.

Rates

Not all rhinoplasty procedures are covered by insurance, so we took into account how reasonable their rates were. We also checked whether or not these clinics offered flexible payment options.

Customer Service

Where surgeries are concerned, good customer service is non-negotiable for us. We considered how well these surgeons and clinics deal with patients in terms of reachability and work attitude.

Pros

  • Premier clinic with modern facilities
  • Surgeon is board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well.
  • Extensive experience in rhinoplasty procedures

Cons

  • Relatively expensive procedures
  • Shorter list of accepted insurance providers

Hobgood Facial Plastic Surgery is a premiere, private clinic with a reputation built on excellent results.

The director, Dr. Todd Hobgood, is incredibly hands-on and has been named a Top Doctor by RealSelf.com and Phoenix Magazine.

He’s board-certified not just by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, but by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He’s also a consultant and injection trainer for the makers of BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVÉDERM®, LATISSE®, and RADIESSE®.

He has also performed over 1,000 facelifts, 4,000 rhinoplasties,  and many other procedures. So as far as expertise goes, clients know that they’re in good hands with him.

Clients also love that the ambiance in the clinic is modern, warm, and non-intimidating. Apparently, the reception staff are all friendly and helpful with patient concerns.

Around the valley, rhinoplasty procedures typically cost anywhere from $9,000 to $12,000. Because they’re a private clinic, expect that their service fees are much higher.

We’d also like to point out that their list of accepted insurance providers is shorter.

However, considering the experience and qualifications of the surgeons, we think they’re well-worth the splurge.

Pros

  • A MedSpa with a wide scope of services offered
  • Surgeon is board-certified ENT with over 8,000 in-office procedures done
  • State-of-the-art procedure rooms
  • Virtual consultations are allowed

Cons

  • Accepts relatively less insurance providers
  • Reports of upselling procedures

Arizona Facial Plastics is a medspa dedicated to providing plastic or reconstructive procedures, as well as skin rejuvenation.

Whether you come to them for a surgical or non-surgical procedure, you’ll be meeting with their founder, Dr. Farhan Taghizadeh, often called Dr. T.

He’s a board-certified ENT and a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 8,000 in-office procedures done.

From what we’ve heard, he’s a kind and encouraging fellow who makes patients feel at ease. It’s also been said that he has a warm personality and a great sense of humor.

What we like about their facility is that they have state-of-the-art procedure rooms. Everything is clean, sanitized, and disinfected for the health and safety of their patients.

They also allow for virtual consultations, which we find to be very convenient. Simply answer a form on their website and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

As for their staff members, clients seem to love how pleasing and courteous everyone is. Even their phone service reps are helpful and easy to reach.

It seems, though, that their list of insurance providers is relatively short. Make sure to clarify if they accept yours.

Also, there have been reports that some of their physicians try to upsell, where they’ll recommend that you get more done than what you asked for.

While not everybody minds, we understand that this can be annoying to some.

Pros

  • Modern and sleek facility that has been likened to a 5-star hotel
  • Top-notch surgeon who is widely-recognized in the industry
  • Offers flexible payment options

Cons

  • Reports of inconsistencies with regards to being responsive to patient inquiries
  • Premium pricing for their services

A one-stop shop for cosmetic and aesthetic needs, Shapiro Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is the place to be.

This is where you’ll find Dr. Daniel Shapiro, a sought-after and industry-recognized leader in aesthetic surgeries with over 29 years of experience.

He’s a respected surgeon who has performed tens of thousands of aesthetic surgical procedures. On top of that, he was recruited to become an instructor in plastic surgery for the prestigious Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.

Despite his achievements, he remains down-to-earth. Patients love his humble and honest nature, as we’ve heard that he’s straightforward about the possible outcomes of the surgery.

It’s also been said that from the initial consultation to post-op visits, he’s communicative and treats patients with kindness. We find this consistency a telltale sign of professionalism and excellent customer service.

The same could be said of his staff members, who are apparently great at dealing with clients – especially those in recovery. Some patients even said that they felt like they were in a 5-star hotel, complete with the most comfortable sheets and lovely meals.

We also have to give them props for their truly aesthetic facility. It’s modern and sleek, yet warm and welcoming to all their patients.

It seems, though, that they’re not as consistent in responding to inquiries. While some say that they reply quickly, others have mentioned doing several follow up phone calls and emails.

Expect, too, to pay a premium for their services. But they do offer flexible payment options, so at least there’s that.

Pros

  • Surgeon is a Top Doctor and board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • Has nearly 2 decades of experience in plastic surgery
  • Relatively affordable procedure rates

Cons

  • Reports of some staff members needing better customer service training
  • Phone service reps appear to be dismissive on some occasions

For nearly 2 decades, Dr. Paul Angelchik has been demonstrating top-notch skills and expertise in plastic surgery.

He’s board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been named by Castle & Connolly as one of the Top Doctors in America consistently since 1996.

As someone who grew up in Phoenix, he has a great sense of community. He has also been on several humanitarian missions locally and internationally, as he considers it an honor to give back.

While there’s nothing different about the way he does procedures, his edge is in providing the highest levels of personalized care.

Arguably, every rhinoplasty surgery should be personalized. But his patients commend him for being an exceptional listener who collaborates with them over the course of their treatment.

What’s more is he is patient and fully-transparent when it comes to explaining all the possible results and complications of the surgery.

We find that these qualities amount to great bedside manners; which is always something one would look for in a doctor.

We also really appreciate that their prices are available on their website. Rhinoplasty costs start at $8,000, which is relatively cheaper in the industry.

Unfortunately, we have heard that the staff service isn’t as good as one would hope. Apparently, even their phone service reps aren’t helpful and dismissive on some occasions.

Pros

  • State-of-the-art facilities and in-house operating room
  • Double board-certified surgeon
  • Known for natural-looking surgery results

Cons

  • Relatively more expensive rates
  • Newer clinic; has only been around for 4 short years

Relatively a newcomer in the industry is Starkman Facial Plastic & Laser Surgery. They’ve only been around since 2018, but they have already been making a name for themselves.

The clinic is founded by double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Sidney Starkman. Apparently, he’s a pro at making the final results look “natural”.

What patients love about him is his professionalism. We’ve heard that he does a great job of explaining what could be done and what to expect after.

While those are things that should be expected, we’ve also heard that he’s kind and makes patients truly cared for. Apparently, he even sends beautiful flower arrangements to most patients post-surgery.

His office staff seems to provide to-notch hospitality, as well.  It seems that most of them treat patients like family and would go above and beyond to help.

What we like about the clinic is their brand-new, fully-equipped on-site operating room. This saves patients the hassle of getting their surgeries done off-site.

All surgeries and minor procedures are performed here. The guest lounge also deserves a special mention, as it is beautifully-designed and made to be comfortable for both patients and visitors.

Rhinoplasty with them ranges from $10,000 to $12,000, which is relatively more expensive. But they do offer financing options, which we find considerate of them.
